Is whistleing ok ?

hi i fitted my new K&N Panel filter today, when the revs get higher it whistles, i am just wondering if this is ok?? and have i fitted it correctly (wasnt a very hard job) it kinda makes it sound electric

just wondering if there any other K&N panel users experience the same?
