It's All About Refinement

  Megane R26 + 182
Im planning on getting a Clio 1.4 16V and I feel the best way a car should look is not that it sticks out and demands attention like some of the cars you see, that look like have come out of Christmas crackers but are refined and when you actually look in detail you see how well done and classy the job has been done. Basically im asking for your help, how much should I lower it buy (40mm – 60mm?) and what suspension should I use? Also what are the best brakes I should use and where’s a good place for strut brace’s? also how much do people charge to colour code the door protectors ( I think that’s what there called). Cheers for you help James (Hopefully soon Clio Owner) !!!

i was in the same boat as you b4 i got mine... i looked into this a lot and for the "marginal" difference do not get a strut brace, YES color code the bumper strips... if you cant do it then theres a guite to DIY if you become a member and look in the guide section very good guide infact, if you want it to look good but not noticable to the untrained eye then 40mm lower im not an expert on breaks but the 1.4 16v has dencent breaks and does not really demand uprated just make it look nice and save the performance mods for the sport models you will undoubtly get in the future ;)
