How are the rear brake pads actually wearing? I'm on 24k at the moment and apparently will need new rears by about 30k, so it seem's as though mine are actually working. Haven't got my MOT until December but I'm hoping the wear is a good sign that things should be ok.

I Went to a mot place that was nowt to do with reno and that knew the cup problem. Ive had to pay for 2 mots tho.
Amazing really ...ive owned 12 cars in my time and my mx5 was the only car to pass first time!
The car has just hit 30 k and the rear pads are a bit worn bit should be good for a while.
Tbh tho im not heavy on the brakes.
I didnt know you wanted to upgrade day!!?? ;-p

Funny how you have to take it somewhere other then a Renault garage. Says a lot really.
