ive got a sti :(

Its the oil in the induction cones that fcuk the maf

Dont ever put a vta dump valve on this either as it will run like a bag w4nk
 
All sti's have a red inlet manifold, looks like thats been painted red and its come off, if it IS a sti then its covered a lot of miles

Surely you of all people should be deterred from concentraing on the image of the car compared the the car itself

we all know what the image a puma has?? but the FRP is an amazing car

i hate the fact the STI has this image but really is a great car to drive

shame they end up in the hands of chavs, but then again so do most performance cars

yes but the accelerator seems to be hooked up with the fuel guage, i can literally see it moving when i put my foot down. lol

i wanted to go flat out in that video but its a crap surface and there were alot of bikes/cars on the road>
doesnt sound the same in the video tho :(
 
I have to admit, that does sound nice!

I've never been a massive scoob fan tbh, my dad has a hawkeye Sti (2.5 t) and again, I'm not overly fussed standard, it felt quick on boost but I was disappointed off boost for a 2.5, just didn't fall in love tbh! May need to drive it again.

The one I've always fancied owning is the P1, so nice! WR1 I'm not keen on the colour... and the Rb320 is a beast also!

Turbo'd Scoobies just sound awesome to me. Make the most of it! In a few years, you'll be driving a Scooby hybrid with a bootful of batteries! ;)

what was wrong with it??

still deciding what splitter to buy for mine.
oh and i think my car is broken.... just about got 90 miles to £40 :(
 
It needed a new MAF sensor. While I was doing that I fitted a new set of plugs. I also removed the induction kit and all the mickey mouse pipework and re-fitted all the original airbox and pipework. I also fitted a Green cotton filter as thats what the bloke at scoobyworld told me to buy! lol.

I can't wait to go out in it tonight. Not driven it for a week.

green cotton filter was what i had on my last 2 imprezas, definately helped. how many miles can you get from £40??
im sure its broken..
 
So had a hour or so free this afternoon so I decided to waste it by stripping the whole car of all the speaker/wires/amps/boot build and false floor in the boot.

I could not believe how much wiring there was in the boot and behind the seats (wires have actually gotnso hot, they have melted into the underside of the seats...

It took along time and alot swearing but, my car is now 17kg lighter. Lol

What's going back in ?!

I can't cope without music... the 4 mile journey back from work on a sunny afternoon is about as far as I'll ever go without popping the HU fascia in. I need to put some half decent ICE into mine. Alpine HU (which is top notch and I've had for years) is fine, but the single pair of knackered 13cm fronts is lacking somewhat, and one side sounds like there's a bee stuck in it.
 
You mean the mpgz is unbearable lol

I would love one, but the thirstiness can get a bit tedious
 
As much I hate the 80-100 miles for £40, it's not that.
Just got it out of my system and I'm selling the st aswell now!
