Jacking Points of mk2 172

  No more clio's for me!
Going to have a bash a painting my brake calipers to day, obivously going to need to jack the car up, wheres the best place to jack it up, has anyone got any pics of jacking points front and rear? Also can anyone recommend a low jack, since the clios on apex springs.

Ta,
Dan
:)

you can jack it on the sills aslong as you get the right bit, where the hole through the sill is it's reinforced.
don't know about low jacks i know you can get them but my tip would be get two old haynes manuals and roll the car back onto them before you start, either that or get a mate to rock the car and slip the jack under!

im planing on paintin mine, do you think i can jus spray paint em and mask all sounding areas? i dont reali want to take the calipers off.

you could probobly mask all the areas of yepbut make sure you do it right. if it was me i would at least unbolt and tie up the caliper so you can take the pads out to make sure you don't get paint on the disc or the pads.also make sure and mask the brake pipe as paint makes rubber go soft
