Hi all, just wondering when fitting a Janspeed cat back to a 182, if you lose the 5k kick?

wouldnt have thought so...think u only lose it when you start playing with induction

Just heard a few stories from Magnex owners!

Surely the 5k kick (as it's rather poorly described on here) is to do with the cams reaching their optimum rpm o you'd feel it regardless of the breathing mods done?

I have a prospeed 2.5" bore cat back and ITG Maxogen and there is still a definitely feeling of the car coming on cam @ ~5krpm

No mate, ive got a Janspeed full system, but just had the cat back first.... and I never lost the 5k kick.
