^^^ Lol , that answered that question ;)

Let's be honest - I'm not going to recommend one of those when the YS is better ;)

True .

Not cheap but supposedly the dogs b****cks . If your lookin' for something cheaper then the miltek seems to get a good review on here as well .

A lot more than a blueflame system and a bit more than a janspeed. Buy a Milltek. then buy a yozza de-cat - that's what I have. Used to have a blueflame system on my 182 - sounded nice and looked good

As seen as nobody will answer your simple question, Janspeed is the better one by far.

Not many people rate either though mate, hence people recommending other systems.

Id go for yozzasport/ btb. Have the quality issues of the first batch of millteks been ironed out? I know a fair few didnt fit well/ rattled.

Agreed.

To be honest a back box will only give you 1-2 bhp if you are lucky. Best to buy a a system which helps reduce weight and is not too loud ie Trackday friendly - also you don't want a system which causes cabin drone on motorway journeys.

IMHO the best systems out there all use a single back box design; Janspeed, Oribsoud and Yozzasport.

I can only speak from experience, I have a Janspeed and it looks great, sounds great and did increase power when coupled with decat, even more so when I got it remapped. Never had any problems with it.

I totally rate the Janspeed system - sounds great with a de-cat.

To be honest, most people are happy with whatever they choose, so if someone asks if such and such is good, the people who own such and such already will all say yeah its great. And the people who have never tried it will always say no way, go to yozza sport, angelworks yadda yadda yadda, thats the way its always been, this forum is dominated by 2 companies and yeah they are two great companies but I'm sure if the k-tec staff posted every day on this forum and got friendly with its members, they'd get the same reception too. If Janspeed posted on this forum everytime someone asked for advice on a new exhaust and made the price of their exhaust system £600, it would probably be hailed the best.

I've got a blueflame exhaust. I love the sound of it, some people don't rate them but over standard and for the price, its a good system.

I do plan to get a decat when Yozza sorts out the fix for the emissions light.

Had my Yozza decat fitted for a couple of months now. The emission light has flicked on and off briefly about twice since it's been fitted. The warning light came on more when the cat was still fitted! Probably once every couple of weeks and guess what? The Renault dealer never found any faults on the couple of occasions I took it in, gave up going back in the end.

Im with the Janspeed on this one.... top exhaust at a good price imo.

Heres mine on std cat. Louder with sportscat or decat.

^ not bad. bit quiet for me tho

yeah, alot of people say that but i like it that way. It actually gets a bit louder if pushing on for a while.

However, i had a sportscat on before which made it substancially louder. Too loud for me lol And if you stick a decat on there, i can imagin it being very loud so you can tinker with it.

I believe you can ask Janspeed to remove some of the packaging for you.

^ Cool. I'm sure it's a decent enough zorst as enough ppl have bought them matey. De-cat for me haha, me like loud!

  fat arctic ! sold yippee!
far too much "mod snobbery" on here tbh.

If it's not the most expensive then its s**t.

that is very true!!!
all i wanted to know was which one was better - not interested in spending a fortune just want a s/s exhaust that is better than the standard renault lump!
your all snobs...but i love it!:rasp:

I like my Blueflame cat back for looks & doesnt sound too bad either (Nice rasp at 3k+). It can be a bit boomy on m,ways at 4k mark, but stereo has a volume control lol ! ;)

I wouldnt mind trying another make in future to see the difference but at time had a budget to stick to & went with Blueflame.

I havent heard or seen any of the other systems in the flesh so cant comment on them.

From what I have read on here all have mixed opinions on what is best spose you get what you pay for & down to personal choice.

Hope this helps ???:S

Nah, ive just seen lots and lots of different clio exhausts, have heard owners tales of what fits and what doesnt, have seen what sounds good and what doesnt, and based an opinion on this.

Far too much 'people being miserable and argumentative c***s', because the bit they bought is the best thing since sliced bread, and all other opinions are worthless. tbh.

Lol

milltek is the way forward for the amount of money imo. if YS and BTB are too much then id get a milltek. people seem to sell blueflames after a while for something else

there was a thread on here, where you could get a milltek for £360ish with a £40 decat, but you'l have to search for it.

so you've based an opinion on what others have told you?
an opinion is something you make on your own.

my blueflame fits, and sounds great and was only 200 notes. Its probably not the the best but then not everyone has or wants to spend £600 on an exhaust.

if we all wanted the best we wouldn't have clios.
