Janspeed Sports Cat

Just wondering if its worth selling my Janspeed cat and replacing it with a de-cat pipe will i see any diffrence in performance

I've got the sports cat and think it's mint. I wouldn't want the hassle of swapping it over each time the MOT was due. It is easier on a 182 though so it may be worth it.

Yes its only a 10min job on a 182 but not sure if i will get any gain

Doubt you'll gain anything mate but should free up the revs a little,really noticed it on mine,should make it a little louder too.

probably see a little gain, and some more noise. dont think many people will have gone from sports cat to decat.

Staying with sports cat....can't be bothered to change a decat pipe for every MOT on the 172 as it's a bit of a fiddly job.
