JDM import advice and experience

I am a big Honda fan and JDM fan, but when an FD2 is almost 20k and my mate bought a new shape Civic Type R for 22k the new one is just a no brainer.

I should of imported a chaser years ago, but chickened out now the boat has probably passed.
Good post, they are a phenomenal car supposedly but you can pick up an FK2 for cheaper now and it would blow an FD2 away, suffer from gearbox issues and poor engine design though from what I've read, they don't cope with tuning very well either.

Depends what you want I guess. An FD2 would be very pure and raw but not great on UK roads as the ride is supposed to be rock solid. An FK2 would be much better as a daily I reckon.

You can get an FK8 for under £25k now.

I wouldn’t ever pay similar money for an FD2.
