im thinkin bout puttin some of these components in thr front and coaxial in the back.

Just wanted to know are they really worth spendin £550 on some speakers?Anyone ever heard em or know anyone sellin second hand ones, cheapest i found is bass junkies.

Does anyone know of any better alternatives for round the £250 touch mark.

Also do the tweeters fit right in the dash of a mk2 clio or is moddin needed?

Alright dan its matt, just thought id give you this link http://www.mcs-direct.co.ukhttp://www.mcs-direct.co.uk I bought my speakers from these and they tend to be a lot chepaer than bass junkies. They dont do JL stuff but i noticed some carbon audiobahn components for £255. You will have to check the depth though cus the kicker speakers i bought were too deep to fit in the front, but they went in the back. Ill see if I can find out how deep they are.

Ive got xr525s in the rear of my car and some MBQuart psc213s in the front.

To be honest mate, having heard/got both, go for MBQuart up front. I think youll like the sound of them more than the JL Audio ones.

in the end i got infinity in the front and back with tweeters. bass junkies are doin em on special and the bloke there reckons they are realy good value for money so i had them.

only one problem, couldnt fit the tweeters so i have got to take me car to them tommorow an there gonna fit the front tweeters, speakers and cross overs for me for £40.

the JL Xr525 are a decent speaker, but as with most of JLs kit, they are over priced

best speakers around the £250 budget are

Polk Momo (001 Mobile) £230
Boston Acoustics RC520 £250
Genesis Audiophile 13 £215
Diamond Audio M351 £250

all above are IMHO, but if youre after SQ then lhave a lok at some of them, you will not be disappointed

I have JLs! Awesome speaker. I got them very cheap trade. But wouldnt pay the Full RRP though

Polk Momos new Range is excellent and much cheaper than last year. Well worth a Listen!

Diamond are also quite good. But seem a bit Harsh! One thing not to forget is to put plenty of clean Power behind them. As if you are running a sh*tty Amp. They wont live up to there full Potential!
