JMS RS2 inlet installation help on Clio 172 cup

So I have bought the inlet already.
It's the gen2 with the one peice manifold.
I know the map sensor plugs in on the left hand side but what plugs in on the right just after the throttle body.
Which breathers/ vacuums do I need or not need.
Ordered the coil pack relocation bracket and pms rocker cover breather plate.
any advice greatly appreciated
 
  dan's cast offs.
just to the left of the tb, plastic tube sleeved with rubber pipe onto the manifold.

Also previous owner had it on a ph1 so needed to cut/drill for an extra sensor which I don't need so I'm going to make an ally plate and panel bond it on to cover the holes

Don't know where any of the holes are on the jms sorry as never done one.

Pcd on the throttle body is different so you'll ha e to sort that out as well unless you want to convert to cable throttle?

If you zoom in - as dave has said , blue pipe in pic centre goes to the servo pipe connection

But as you can see on my Ph1 with the RS2 inlet - my troubles were to achieve additional outlets for the idle valve and vac take off for the fuel pressure regulator . You have it easy [emoji23]

Yes I bought mine from a guy with a ph1 so I have to block 2 holes up for those extra bits.

The inlet came off a ph2 172 originally and the guy I bought it from had it on his ph1.
I'll take a picture of it tomorrow at work and post it on here so you can have a look at it

should be relatively straight forward, if its been on a phase 1 and phase 2 then just bolt her up, connect what you have to it in a logical fashion and block up any holes left

mine was similar, been on both but most recently on a phase 1 and I fitted it to phase 1, was dead easy just bolted it on and connected up the pipes it cam with to the services on the car they fell close to.

Christ , it's got a big hole where the idle valve went [emoji15] . Looks like no resale thought went into that when they did that lol. That'll need sealing . Good luck with that .
Or I spose you could just put an idle valve off a Ph1 to seal it up .

ah Christ that's been butchered, mine uses a small hole and a adaptor tube off the idle valve, didn't have the valve bodged directly onto the manifold!

mine ran 193bhp and 160lbft ish iirc on stock engine and exhaust manifold. planning to 182 exhaust manifold and 197 cam it with group n timing and remap that early next year

That's why I did what I had to do to get mine running without touching the manifold itself . Resale will be plug and play if it's for a Ph2 owner .
Mines running 438 cams timed up to GrpN and mapped .
As I've mentioned I'd like to to a nice healthy figure on the rollers , I'll be sceptical thou , as some seem to make more than others .

ai tbh RR is never a great base for real world performance, but if it goes well gives you something to shout about!

all I know is the car feels better on track with the RS2 than it did without, power spread is better, use gears for longer even if outright power isn't that much up

Totally agree , been told it goes well , and I think it does . But as you've said if it feels fast it's a hoot .
