Jonnyrs - your car is a pain in the arse!

  Discounted 1*2 parts
So to cut a long story short....

Jonny came round mine in November to have a second hand washer pump fitted which didn't work so we fitted the old part back on!

Then he came round 2 weeks ago to have new brakes fitted. The NS carrier was seized solid so it wouldn't move to accomodate the new pads so the old parts ended up being fitted back on again! After sourcing a new carrier the front brakes were fitted a week later!

Today jonny came round to have new rear brakes fitted. Got the NSR swapped over fine. Came to the OSR and the disc wouldn't budge. After trawling around cambridgeshire to find a puller we finally got the disc off and got the new discs and pads fitted!

So it was third time lucky (just!). I thought for a while we'd be fitting the old parts back on again!

Also sorted Jonny's washer bottle leak today too!

Been there myself and I know what a pain in the back side changing the brakes can turn out to be.

Flol, I had the same issue trying to get my osr disc off, carrier and hub nut off no probs, and then an hour of smacking it with a hammer and it was still firmly in place. Eventually got it off by wedging a bar between the disc and the hub.

Pretty much identical with mine, hitting it with a hammer for an hour which helped relieve some overhangin' stress but did absolutely nothing for the car! Luckily I know a man called Tom and hes from bethlehem

My N/S rear disc did this to me last week. Took an hour or so to get the damn thing off. I'm so glad they last a while:approve:
