judder when under hard braking

not abs type before anyone says that but it feel ike the discs are warped....i knw that when my mate checked the car over he said the front discs were pitted on the inside!

warped discs most likely although a fucked ball joint can give juddering under braking as well

is there a way of checking if the discs are warped?
