Juddering problems!please help!

I have a mark 1 phase 3 clio 1.4 and every time i pull away in 1st the whole car judders, and the clutch is really heavy.please could someone give me some advice what it is!

clutch judder is normally a sign of the clutch linings wearing.you will need to fit a clutch kit to cure that problem.

have you got any ideas of the price with it all fitted i just bought a clifford so im a bit low on cash!

clutch kit probably about £50>£80.labour costs all depend on where you get it done.

Cheers for that jay thats loads of help at least i no a little wot im talking about now i mite go to renault not sure if thats a gd idea or mite get an uprated one.it wont ruin the whole clutch if i keep driving it will it?

youll not ruin anything so get it done when you have some pennies.a dealer will charge you about 4 hours labour.

ahh ok mate ive sent an email to bb tuning to see what theyve got to offer cos i wanna lower it as well but i didnt no there was uprated kits aswell but theres probly no point as its only a 1.4
