anything to do with aerodynamics?

If it's wonky it doubles the effect, so 10bhp.

Stickers aren't going to do much for performance, if you want a quick boost, add a cup full of piss to your petrol tank, the ammonia increases the petrol's performance.

Apparently it depends where you position the strips - eg: if you put them on the side of your car, it improves the handling when going round corners.

If they are positioned on top (bonnet, roof) it increases your acceleration time.

They are the most common places. Who knows what will happen if you put them elsewhere!

Agreed, I know of someone who placed stripes under his car, haven't seen him since, airborne iirc.

Aerodynamics must be s**t hot on these strips.

If you extend them all the way to the boot it adds another 2bhp iirc
