just bought 172 - noisy gearbox

hi guys just bought a 52 plate 172 and it goes into gear fine but when accelerating in 1st and 2nd there is a loud grinding noise when i put my foot down

what could this be? clutch?

if its only in 1st n 2nd , and u shure its the gearbox area and not the usual heat shields been nocked
