Just collected my 08 plate 1.2 TCE dynamique S
Less than 24 hours ownership and I've come back and someone has thrown a towel covered in Paint and paint-thiners on the windscreen.
I've taken it off and it looks like there is no perminant damage. I F*cking love living in Bracknell. It was parked less than 5 meters from my house.

The Paint looks to be ok.... I promise pics tomorrow on the understanding people just don't reply with 'Needs Lowering!' which, although true, is some time off.
As much as it is annoying I don't think there is any permanent damage which is lucky. I'm going to try and park right outside my house from now on. Can't let the buggers get me down.
And for those wanting to know where bracknell is, it is the arsehole of Berkshire, Ascot & Windsor's Asbo owning half-brother...

Managed an average of 43.5MPG.
bearing in mind its 'combined' MPG is 48.3 (or there abouts) I don't feel I'm that far off.
Not had the chance to stretch its legs properly. Hopefully will do on the journey home.

Your combined mileage will never be what renault told you.
My extreme is supposed to do 47.9mpg combined and im stuggling to get 41mpg,
thats with both town and motorway miles.
so what iv learnt is dont trust the instant mpg reading and use the average one which is one click on the trip computer before the mpg!
I dont suppose you can post a pic of the engine, i want to see if a turbo will fit on my extreme!

I'm not worried too much about the MPG. They will always be for 'optimum driving conditions' and I tend to drive the the real world.
The change for me has been a 1.8 RT Sport laguna to this. I think for motorway driving it will be the biggest difference but at the moment I'm only noticing a little difference in acceleration. I'm sure when I get the oppertunity to stretch its legs I'll see a lack of top speed but the 1.2 turbo is only about 5-10 BHP less than the 1.8 rt sport.

It does have a mouse-motor though!
Without the turbo I'd doubt it would have enough power to chuff a fart!
The wheels will be going, but I'm happy with the dials.
It is a bit annoying that the display has 4 doors on the car when I only have 2.
I went for climate control because the air con knobs looked a bit silly. The stereo will be going too, but I've got a shopping list as long as my arm but a wallet that is emptier than a biscuit tin at Rick Waller's house...

the have amended the dyn s since i got mine, a/c used to be an option - miserable c***s!!
