Just done mk1 dash light change...

yeah did them, but they dont really work as they work off 1 buld.led for all 3, and the orange tinting is built in the clock/dials! doh! i mihgt see if i can get a brighter led for the dials and clock, as the blue led does make the display look white instead of orange!

Looks ace - shame I managed to break my dials trying to do this lol. With the filters you can take them out if you haven't done so already and you can very carefully sand the back of the dial cards to get more of that orange s**t off i done my clock before but it stopped working as I took the filter out - somebody mentioned making a hole in the side tho :/
i done my clock before but it stopped working as I took the filter out - somebody mentioned making a hole in the side tho :/yeah its a mk1 ph3. my dials were really easy, mine dosnt have the orange tint paper on the bck, it had orange bulb covers, so just had to remove the covers then put the blue led's in. not alot of poeple know that led's will only work 1 way, so make the mastake of thinking theyve done it wrong...just turn te led around if you get this!
i cant take the filter out of my clock as thats the bit that holds it together lol and i like my clock. hole sounds like a gd idea..will look into that!

Looks great - btw leds dont work well behind the heater controls. Never fear - http://www.metal-monkey.co.uk/acatalog/Clio___Renault_19.html <- heater controls - I would suggest the dark blue background with a black finish maybe, just need a standard bulb behind it and hopefully with the black finish you may not have to spray the heater knobs to match (which is a pain to do)
