Id try jacking car spin each wheel listing and feeling for any noises, could it be the centre of wheel hub not aligned/seated well or perhaps wheel bolts are too long on rear of hub perhaps toucing or wheel bolts too short coming loose? maybe caliper its touching alloys?
Jacked up today and spun the wheels, which were alright but it seemed like the pads were sticking on one area of the disc :S
The wheel was seated ok and the bolts were all fine.
Took the spacers off, and went for a run - the car's grand :S
Lost for ideas now TBH
try just the rears on to see if the noise is there then just the fronts?helps narrow it down a bit.are your longer wheel bolts catching throught the threaded part into the hub?
Yeah all the bolts were fine, gripped without any problems. All was protected with some copper grease too.
They aren't longer bolts, the spacers are "system B" meaning they come with bolts to fit them to the hub. Then you use your normal wheel bolts to fit to the spacer.
Both spacers are off now so can't tell if the bolts were protruding through the hub and catching something.
- I read on here before about someone having to get spacers "machined" to fit - what was all that about? :S
These are genuine FK Hubcentrics for the Clio direct from FK themselves so can't understand why it's not a "simple fit"
