Hi, I'm new on this site. I was just looking for Clio Sport 2.0 on Yahoo and now here I am.
Were are most of you guy from?
I'm from Costa rica, and I drive a year 2002 2.0, but here there are just like 10 of them, so it's kida difficult to talk to a fellow driver of one of those. It only have a racing chip on it, but I don't know how much of a performance booster it is since I've never driven a stock one, well another one either.
Thanks for the time and I'll be glad to opinions and tips on it.

Renault Uk never realsed any tunning bits for the cars the only bits which you might call tunning are the special edition 172 Cupi which was a cut dwon spec 172 with no ABS etc.

The 182 came in Cup spec as well but that not as much of a lower spec.

The 182 did come with the option of Cup suspension and spoliers as well.

I'd say the next best thing to do is a decat and manifold reworking but it might be a bit more work getting the mnaifold done you'd have to talk to the tunners in the UK about getting an exchange sent out which had been modied and you return your old one when you do the swop.

as yours is a 2002 model it is known as a clio 172 or phase2 172 (ph2 172)

Hey, thank you all, it's been great to share at least how happy I am of my car with people who knows what it's like to have the best of the pocket rockets.
Sadly, the roads in my country some are in terrible condition, but in the good ones, I enjoy my car at it's best.
Here there are a lot of modified Hondas, Nissan's, and Toyota's, but I've been beaten only by a Subaru Impreza STI, because here we don't have very long straights, so I close up the gap in the turns, I can't believe how smooth my lil' 172 moves.
By the way, it was on the dyno a few days ago and it is giving 186 hp on the wheel, thanks to the chip and a few adjustments, am I on the right track to enjoy the best of it?
