Hi

Just had my cambelt changed, She has done 42000 miles and is coming up 5 years old. Now Im getting a rather strange noise from it, sound like a whine noise.

what can this be? sounds like the noise when you are reversing.....

Sounds like they didn't chnage the tensioners or they've no lubricant in them as they havn't be installed correctly.

They said that they have changed the tensioners......I might give them a ring in the morning, see what they say....

Yes, If I leave it out of gear and give it some welly, the sound does increase.
