Just joined and looking for road legal track car

Hi there, I have just signed up for membership and looking forward to being a Clio owner.
We want a fun road legal track car and the Clio seems to be the best value for money when it comes to track days and staying road legal.
Never owned a Clio and know nothing about them so hoping to gain lots of advice on what to buy.
Clio must be road legal and have all the usual stuff done for track days. Full roll cage, seats, harness, shocks, brakes, bushes, exhaust, manifold etc.
Any advice on what to look for when buying secondhand would be most appreciated. Been advised to buy 2003 172.

Just buy a standard car and take out the rear bench.

Saves 2kg and you can call it a road legal track car.
