Just ordered reg plate from fancyplates!

Just ordered a new reg plate from fancyplates 520mm X 90mm, can't wait to get it, they look really tidy!!

Anyone ordered from them before? If so how long did it take to arrive and have you got any pics?

mine was from there. just looks the same as every other 3/4 size plate lol so im not posting pictures. it took about 2/3 days to come through.

Yup 3 or 4 days usually, not bad tbh. Don't forget: Cliosport club members get a discount aswell (although, too late for the op)

I did look at the member discounts section but it doesn't state how much so I e-mailed fancyplates earlier today but have had no reply. Got impatient so just went and ordered it, total came to £29.
I might try to phone them tomorrow and see if they maybe be able to sort something out.

Can't wait to get them!

Only carried this illegal US plate upfront when i still had a Rover Mini Cooper.

Le' me' see.: err.... 31 EURO, through the DVLA! Car get registered for having duplicate reg plates.

Ive been looking into buying some plates from fancyplates.com as well to tidy up the car What percentage of discount do they offer anyways? Ive designed a simple one with a black renault border with the reg in Font 1.

By the way, with Font 1 do you reckon ill receive any attention from the fuzz? I would hate to buy them to be told later down the line to remove them because they are 'illegal'..

Just phoned fancyplates and spoke to Olivia who was a very lovely lady and she has added the discount for me and will refund me the difference and hopefully I should have them in 3-4 days!

mines was standard writing, length but a little shorter height to fit the recess. lasted a week and got pulled. 60quid fine.

I've got some euro plates to fit too but i'm not gonna fit them until i can find some decent plate holders, can anyone reccomend any? This way i can keep the original plates in the boot and tell the fuzz i was just taking some pics and forgot to change em back over, i've heard this work in the past and as long as you change em back over there and then it can help to avoid the fine!

Not found any decent plate holders though, any ideas???

What's wrong with the euro plates? Surely if you have a yellow and white one, the correct badge and font then your not breaking any rules??

^ its to do with some reflective pish for speed cameras. thats what it got told anyway ...

Think its partly down to the embossed letters/numbers and the feds being gay! Not sure on the letter of the law but there's a law against them out somewhere possibly to do with the font being different for authenticity, thus the reason i'm going to use holders so they're easily interchangeable without drilling into my new plates.

As far as euro plates 'being soooo 2008' people have there opinions and mine is they look pretty mint and make it stand out a lil more from the rest
