Just seen 2004 Clio

On our round looking for a new car for my mate, stopped off at Southport Renault, gave me a chance to see what a clean Clio looks like.

Had a look round a new Dynamique, basically the same, only it had 15" 172 wheels on. Even though there is only an inch difference, they looked far smaller, starting to regret sticking 172 rims on mine now that all new Clios are going to have the same wheels.

Did you notice the new front bumper and the dials?

and the colour coded spoiler.. the 2004 model looks a lot nicer than the previous one.

It was only a quick look round the car, did notice the spoiler, didnt look round the front of the car so didnt see the new bumper, plus it was locked up so I couldnt get inside.

Is that all the differences? Have there been any mechanical changes to last years models?

ive got a 2004 clio. i didnt notice at all that it was slightly different.

I dont like the front bumper or grill but the spoiler (isnt it the same as the 2003 model but colour coded?) and wheels look good. Anyone got a pic of the inside? gonna have my plastic bits done this year...will the insurance get the tit on about it?

I cant stand the new front end personally. They had 1 in at Manchester on Wed. It was only a 1.2 I think but it looked really ugly IMO.

Didnt have a 182 in there though, just a 172.

Id be very inderested in any mechanical changes too. I heard rumours theyve updated the ECUs in all engines, not just the 2 litre.

Southport Renault. Drove past their the other day after a trip to B&Q one dinnertime.(Work in southport). I was running late so I only got a chance to have a little look as i prepared myself for the round about. Thought I saw the new dynamique with the 15in 172 alloys.

Oh dear, 172 alloys? The 172 is going to look even more like a standard model then.

yeah its got a ecu in it. The roof still rattles but i want to get rid of the 172 alloys and have the turini ones.
