just solved a very annoying problem

  ibiza cupra
i fitted my amp last week and i had buzzing that got worse as i accellirated coming through the speakers that were running from the amp (you know the one). i know this is caused by a power lead and an audio lead running together and as i had the remote wire and the phono lead both running down the centre of the car i thought that may be the problem so i moved the remote wire to the same side as the power cable but low and behold the noise was still there so i took a trip to my local car store and got meselve one of those noise filter supressors which is fitted into the constant live to the amp which im happy to say did the trick and i dont know if its me but the system accually sounds better too
heres some pics

You sure the suppressor fits there? Just looking at the amp wire, its a MUCH thicker guage than the suppressor wiring?

i've always run all the cables down the same side as it does not make a difference

you need to double check all your earth points aswell

i'd get suppressor removed as that looks like it aint right

I think you will find ite meant to go on the alternator or the back of the radio! Its going to end up overheating there!

It'll be your ground that isn't great. find a bolt that is bolted to the chassis, and then sand away the paint around it so it is clean metal. this should give you a good ground.

it seems to have done the trick but if its not right then i will move it. only thing is, is that this is where the bloke at the shop told me to put it
