K&N air filters

Dont rip me apart for asking this but Ive been told you can recharge k&ns with WD40, sounds dodgy to me. Is there any way other than using their own stuff coz I want to do if now and cant get hold of the proper oil.

Its no good as it evaporates off, use the correct stuff.

Even halfrauds sell it these days.

i got the proper cleaning kit for £7 posted off ebay

yea dont use anything else, they have a million mile warranty which they really do honour !

if you start using other stuff on it then it wont perform as well
