k&n filter

i got my k&n today and i thought i brought the kit, but all i got was the filter, how easy is it to fit?

not too had, just fit it onto the existing pipe to the air filter, but it will be at the back, by the exhaust manifold.

what u cud do do get more cold air on to it, is the cut that pipe and have it attached the other way, in the direction of the cold air pipe on the PS headlamp. and have that cold air feed blowing directly on it.

cheers, will i get much performance gain? and will i get an induction roar??

Will get a roar, but virtually no power gain, unless you pipe copious(sp) amounts of cold air to it, i.e. sh*t loads

hey mate, i have a 1.2 16v and i bought a viper kit, i found good power gains but no roar! as people have told me you only get one or the other, on a open air induction kit it will roar but no power gains visa versa!

i was quite surprised when i opened it, i brought it off ebay and was hoping for the cone and all the pipes, but all i got was a sh*tty filter and nout else. not even instructions

on a cold air induction kit it can roar and go faster if u find the right cold air!

would just the filter count as an induction kit?
