k-tec 1.2 16v sports cat problems

Well after much debate i ended up getting one of these.... oh how i wished i didnt

For a start the holes for the bolts are not aligned right and to small for the bolts to go through.

After alot of hassle in trying to get the damn thing to fit i find out the flange is to small to fit over the manifold.

Now here is where the trouble started. i went to take the thing off this weekend seeing as there was a little bit of sun. However one of the bolts that goes through the cat into the manifold seems to be stuck in the manifold.

The nut on the other end which holds in the spring decides to come off but now i cant get the bolt out..

anyone had one of these things or ever had this problem?

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh help me!!!

please

already have the best they said was...."oh thats not meant to happen. send it back to us and we will sort it out" the point is i now cant get the sodding thing off the car by the time i have they will probably turn around and say i cant send it back its to late

Let me assure you, we are not going to say that. If you can get the car to us, we'll take it off for you, we like to help where we can, if we are asked to do so and given the opportunity.

i was going to buy one of these, why were you taking it off anyway.

What did it sound like? Was it any faster with it on ?

sean cheers for the offer and i really would bring it down but im tooo fair away :( whats the chances of this thing being made to fit if i drill the holes bigger so they are aligened right and big enough for the bolts to go thru?

olly the problem with it was the bolt holes where it bolts to the manifold are to small for the bolts to go thru and there not lined up properly so wont fight tighlty and has a massive blow to it

i would imagine you might feel a little bit of a difference but will probably need a decent cat back syatem to with it. dont think its going to make much of a sound difference if i get it on properly. at the moment it sounds like its got no exhaust on at all as its only held onto the manifold by one bolt.
