K-Tec brake kits for Clio 2

Hi!

I was wondering if anyone tried K-Tecs brake kit for Clio 2, I was interested in the 285mm version but needed to be sure that their brake kits are of very good quality, after all its a lot of money!

So... nobody here has got an idea about K-Tec product quality? Even if you didnt try their brake kits?

How about exhaust manifolds, compared to those from Supersprint?

I havent tried any K-Tec stuff, but if you are after a brake conversion Tarox think they will be able to supply a set of 6 piston calipers, bigger discs, new brake hoses and brackets for £750 ish - and it will fit under 15" wheels.

I am just waiting for them to check/confirm that it will fit the newer Clios

for a 1.2 why not just upgrade to 172 brakes ? fit some disks on the rear etc..

Craig can you keep us updated on the Tarox brakes pls. If I update mine, there will be a set of cup disc/calipers/pagid pads on the market too!

Hi!

In fact my Clio is a 1.2 but Ive done an engine conversion to a 1.6 16v, and thats why Im considering a brake upgrade.

Im close to buying the 172 rear brakes (whole brake system), so Im only interested in more powerful front brakes.

Craig, if you please, let us know about those Tarox kits :)

I spoke to Tarox today and they have a brake kit with 280mm discs, 6 pot calipers, mounting brackets and brake hoses for £750 including vat.

This kit will fit the newer model Clios as well as the older 16v/Wiliams - and will fit under 15" alloys.

I also asked about a Cliosport discount and they reckoned they would be able to offer a 10% discount - I have passed on the details to Ivan.
