K-Tec exhausts

My girlfriends sisiters boyfriend is looking for an exhaust for his clio, he is thinking of getting an exhaust from k-tec, are these cat back systems or ust the backbox

none of us are too clever when it comes to cars

They do supply a "sports" cat as well. Another 5hp claimed. My K-tec exhaust should be arriving today, so hopefully on the car soon.

I have a cat back K-Tec steath & its not too loud, it only roars when you floor it (a good roar), apart from that its not much louder than standard. Go for it!

Im the same as Duz172 top exhaust.

They do just the back box but dont like to as it doesnt always fit on its own.

I have one on a Mk1 1.4.

They are loud when you boot it and they pop nicely when coming off the throttle Also they have a nice hum when idling.

They are quite loud when your cruising at 60-70 mph on a motorway (it tickles your ear a bit) but i dont mind really.

Ive got the cat back system with the K5 back box on my 16v. My neighbours hate it

Not sure if k-tec sell just the back box but either way the full system is the way to go. There some that are very loud and other that come with a silencer.

Oh i have the K8 with the removable silencer baffle, never used it lol.
