K-tec filter feels dry?

Need to clean my ITG so Ive put a k-tec filter in,
when I first got the ITG it was really well oiled,
so I assumed the k-tec one would be the same
but it felt quite dry / not very oiled, is that normal?

Was the filter oiled at all or just a light coating?

Very light coating, almost non existant, the ITG was heavily oiled in comparison.

As long as it has a coating of oil it will be fine, all our panel filters have a coating of oil before they are packaged so just wondered if one had slipped through the net.

So is it a very light coating then?

I had to really squeeze the foam to feel anything,
& even then my fingers were just tacky not oiley.

Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make
sure that it will do its job properly.

As long as it's lightly oiled then yes it will be fine, you don't want it too be to heavily oiled.
