K-tec kevlar brake pads

Hi, has anyone used these? Are they any good? Just looking to go to k-tec soon and was wondering whether to get some fitted while I was there. Thanks , Sam.

K-tec gave out a load of free sets on here to test and recieve feedback on.

Posted about a month later asking where the feedback was.

No idea how good they are as none of the feedback has reached us (if they had any), that i know of, ofc feedback might have been posted and i missed it.

Personally i would stick with pagids, done me very well on the road and on the track, no fade, and fooking awesome on the road

I had a set of 182 Rears off of K-Tec to try for them.

However because the rear does f**k all of the braking i didnt notice a blind bit of difference.

This is not to say they dont work.

Im running std rears on ym car andf still managed to lock the rears up at anglesey

Yeh well I was looking on the k-tec site and they are selling the pagid pads for nearly £150 a set!! I cant afford that!!! Sam

how ever i think the k-tec ones are the same race spec ones that renault sport use, or something. Sam

Using them on my MK1 172, must say I am very impressed. Not sure how much difference pads only make but with the K-tec front discs noticed a massive difference. Stopping is great and hardly any brake dust



Also got a set on the back running with rears discs from BB Tuning.
