K-TEC springs-HELP!

Right, hopefully this will be the last time I post about lowering springs (I just want to get it right) as Im probably boring everyone??

Just spoke to K-tec and they recommend their own 30mm drop springs. Pis are cheap and local for me to get them fitted but only 25 & 15mm drop.

Eibachs are only about 10mm but a bit expensive for me (Ill have to order them and fit them elsewhere!!).

Whats the quality of the K-tec ones, does anyone know, he obviously said theyre great??

K-Tec do the APEX springs IIRC. JillyB has them on her MKII 172 :

think they are very good mate but on the pricey side...its down to the you in all fairness mate...

just remember that you get what you pay for - springs are crucial to the handling of your car...

Eibachs are about £120, anything around this should be fine

Wouldnt do a large drop on just springs.

Im thinking the Pi springs BBPT do, 25mm at the front and 15mm at the rear.

They gave me £145 fitted. It must be noticable??

yes it is mate but probably not mega like jillys above... i think 145 all in including springs is quite a good price

Thanks for the comment CUPPY, sometimes Id rather have advice from everyone in here than the garages.

I dont want it like a hoover but just sat nicely, stiffer ride would be nice but doubt thatll happen with them.

This is the look Id like, would the Pis drop to this kind of height? If Im right, yozza has Eibachs and different shocks but that kind of drop would be nice.

fitted some of those k-tec springs to my mates 172 and they seem ok. rides not as harsh as i thought it would be so i think i will get some now.
