k-tec turbo conversion worth it ?



i want more power in my valver, ive looked at 2.0ing it but have had a bit of trouble finding somewhere to do the covnersion, ive looked into throttle bodies but it's too expensive, the k-tech conversion is cheapish compared to other options and offer's 170bhp? coupled with some other mod's maybe looking at around 200bhp? the only problem i can see with the kit is that its pretty expensive for what it is (basically a very low boost conversion with no big upgrade's)

K-tec are a nice bunch of guys - give em a ring on 01202 820800, im sure they will give you some prices on a conversion.
 
no views on the turbo conversion? the rtoc boys dont seem to be to impressed and say its well over priced which tbh i expected, but no one knows where to source all the parts.
 
too much. tbh i think im just gonna and get get the 2.0 sorted then go the na route with head work + cams e.t.c, ala nana style.

charged CTR engines are superb...... would be fantastic to see one of those running in a clio....

Buy a VAG engine....and the rest of the S3 to go with it:)

Avec a Gruppe M IK and full 4-2 manifold. Mates deecee5 ran 235 on the rollers with just the IK.
 
well, kinda.......honda bhp figures dont follow the lines of the rest of the world........i'm always battling against the honda BHP which seems to be about 10% higher than other cars lol.......its all the influence from the states.

True, they can make 240bhp in a well built grpN engine, but honda tolerances from the factory are bar none, the best....so blueprinting doesnt do much per say.

I'm currently working on fitting this engine to the Williams. Gonna take some welding but I should have it finished for the new season.
