Got a K57i at the moment but having read the forum for a while they dont get much of a good write up.

Is it woth fitting my standard air box back on with a panel filter?

So, if you use the standard box with a new panel filter, do you need to keep the complete air intake and box? or can you take off the inlet pipe? (the one that points down to the ground).

I really wanna take the inlet pipe off (or move it). If it wasnt for that being so low to the ground, my engine wouldnt have drank all that water!!!

Think Ill have to agree with BenR....with the K&N induction kit I have on...initially on a cold engine the power delivery seems good....but after a while, especially in the low to mid range the power just doesnt seem to be there.....going to put the original one back on...and get a panel filter!

Im running the Green Cotton panel filter with the Hill Power Air intake pipe - seems a very good mix and a noticable inprovement.

when i bought my clio it came with a k&n already on it and the gimp had throen the standard one away so im stuck with it till i have some spare cash to by something better
