K800 Dead

My k800 has just died on me, had this one for a week as my other one broke so got a replacement from orange.

Just gone to ring someone and the phone died, so tried to turn it back on and the screen went white for a second and it vibrated, then dead again, so tried to jump it with the mains charger and it does the same, but only once.

So took the battery out and tried it without the battery and the same happens, just doesnt seem to want to turn on.

Any ideas anyone?

ring orange again?take sim card out and rub it?leave it off for a while?

Cant ring orange, cos im at uni and this is the only fone i have access to really.

Ill try the sim card thing though, cheers.

Just turned itself back on again randomly :S

maybe try a firmware upgrade. only had my k800i a few days, but it's great. upgrade took about 10 mins once all the software was downloaded from sony ericsson

K800i's are trash. I've had nothing but issues with mine. I can't get into any applications now, all I get is an 'application failed' error message. Superb.

Mine did exactly the same mate, sent one back, and the new one did it too. Although it just worked again after I held down the power button for 5-10 secs, weird.

They were both on charge when it happened :S

mines been fine for over six months until today, when i launched it at a wall in a street : (

Mine's been fine for almost a year now Let it rest for about 20 secs after it turns / you turn it off and then turn it on again.
