My Kenwood dvd player with a built in screen thingy which was working fine is now playing up.
Yesterday, the touch screen went black and has not displayed anything since, and is not making the beep noise when I touch it, the functions seem to work fine, I can hear all the sounds from the radio and DVD etc but the screen is just black. When I press the reset button on the front of the unit it flickers momentarily but then just goes back to being blank.
At the same time the screen problem occured, my amplifier now isn't turning on. All connections are fine, it's grounded properly, the remote wire is connected up fine.
Anyone got any bright ideas or had a similar experience with a touchscreen unit?
