kerb

Going round this corner which had slushy snow and my car started sliding towards the kerb which i had no control of and i hit it. Was proper panicking thinking i may have done some bad damage.

Had a look at my wheel and all i can see is some kerb marks which dont look too bad. Gave it a drive to see if the steering had bent and it still drove in a straight line when i had my hands off the wheel and when braking. Feels normal when turning aswell. Could i have got away with it or is there something i may not be able to notice?

if it drives properly, then its not broken.

maybe but could i have broken something which isnt connected to the steering? Its just a bit odd as i hit it quite hard. If i had bent something would my wheel not be centered and the car not drive straight. will test it again tomorrow

Lucky. I'd definitely at least go and get the tracking checked though. It will almost certainly need to be adjusted, and if anything is untoward they'll point it out.

checked it this morning and all seems fine. Might still get it tracked. How much would a garage charge to get it tracked and adjusted if needed?

This.

Just because it drives straight doesn't mean it's not foooked.

You'll realise when in another 500 miles you'll need 2 new front tyres.
