Kerbed my alloy!

F**KIN BOLLOX!

After only 3 months too!

Just caught the left rear on the kerb off a T-Junction, would have got away with it if the kerb was about 8inches high!

So, Ive got a nice couple of scuff marks just on the edge, not too deep but they well stand out.

Any suggestions of how to make them less noticable without having to get the alloy re-furbed?

Funnily enough last time I bout alloys I kerbed them after 3 months too, that must be the point where your not 100% concentrating on the kerbs..

Maybe you can get them re-furbed, look in the yellow pages ?

For the effort of refurbing just on alloy Id buy another one an use the scuffed one as a spare or summat.

I kurbed my back left after 3 months but luckily i had all my wheels replaced on warrenty and now theyre all brand new. Mooooo Hahahaha

PS i feel for ya!

PPS What wheels were they?

16" Momo Fighters. Theyve got diamond shaped bits on the edge and Ive ripped part of one of them off too!

I can get them re-furbed at a place near me, not sure how much. Just thought there might be a cheaper way of disguising it though....

easy people. where its scuffed, personally ide jus put a tight skim of filler in there.. smooth it down with no less than a p240 (otherwise youll have nice deep scratches). then get some silver aerosol (closest you can get to the wheel... n gently blow it in til the fillers covered... finish with a gently spray of single pack aerosol laquer. £25 a refurb.. f*ck that lol
