Dear All
Just spent £400 at Renault on a new immobiliser computer and the like has it went haywire for my mk 1 172.
Anyway after getting over the shock when i sometimes turn the ignition on the immobiliser cuts the engine off,thing is though i can always restart it again by pressing the immobiliser on and off again,where before i couldnt get it to start at all,thats why i had to get a new one.
I am going to take it back to Renalt again to have a look at it but i have a feeling i might need to get a new key fob as well,they told me they are £140,what a complete rip off.
Has anyone else had any troubles like this lately,i love the car even after having it four years but am seriously considering getting something else later in the year and i really dont think it will be a 182,im getting a bit fed up with Renault,this is my 3rd clio after having the old RSi and 16v.
I would like something a little bit more reliable.
