Keys in boot car locked

So I have a r****d mate who decided he would put things in my boot and put my keys down then close it!!!!!! I have already smashed the window and got them out! What I want to know is, Is there a way to turn that stupid auto lock off I know about the one that locks when driving I have disabled this bit doesn't seseem to affect, when stationary and loading boot, my gf is going to be using my
my car and although I will tell her ALOT not to do it im
insure she will lock them in there! Thanks in advance!

Auto lock? Unless it's faulty once you've unlocked it, then opened a door, it will stay unlocked.

my car has a sigma cat 1 alarm so after 3 minutes it automatically locks and alarms it's self ! Pain in the arse but I have two sets of keys !

Is a lot cheaper than breaking a window ! Just get a blank key cut and use the passenger side lock !

You sure your boot switch Is working? Sounds like the car hasn't recognised the boot being opened,

And you can reconfigure the uch to turn off the auto relocking.

Now u mention it, my boot light doesn't come on, maybe some issue with the switch??

I was always under the impression that if you didn't open the drivers door,
the car would lock itself after about 30 seconds, even if other doors have been opened?

This. I believed it was only the drivers door to!

You can turn the auto lock off i think by turning the ignition on to stage 2, then holding the door lock button!

It's any door that's opened, not just the drivers door.

And holding the lock button turns the RAID off/on.

Sounds like the micro switch is faulty in the boot catch.

Mine locks itself after a certain time if I'm near it with the keys. But only when I'm near.

I left my car unlocked all day through work by accident, came out and it was still unlocked. But I almost locked my keys in the boot. Dropped them in, went in the house then though, where are my keys? Ran full sprint outside and got them just in time lol.

On both my Clios if I unlocked the car then didn't open the drivers door in a certain length of time, the doors would lock again. Opening only the boot would still lock it.

Cheers guys for all your replies, if I open a door it's fine and stays unlocked but not when boot opened! Like someone said ill get a few keys cut and dot em around places ha' thanks
