Kinda urgent help needed......

Dad and sister are both in America. Both got 3g's.

Both on 02, both got international roaming enabled, data roaming disabled.

Dad lost signal on his phone 2 days ago, Sister lost her signal this morning.

I phoned o2, they said there no problems with the account and international roaming etc is enabled therefore there shouldn't be any problem with their connection.

Tried to reset networks through settings -> general -> reset -> reset networks, no change.

Tried manually selecting a network through settings -> carrier and selected the one that was working.

It connects for about 5 seconds on USA comnet(?) then it comes up with a message saying "your selected cellular network is no longer available. You can choose a different network in settings."

Any ideas?

Apart from messenger on the laptop, it's the only way to contact them.

Any help / suggestions would be great.

why not buy a local pay and go sim card for AT&T? Or even T-mobile, cost next to nothing and swap the sim card out without major charges, you can simply swap the old sim back to check messages every few days. Either that or buy a Virgin pay and go phone for $10 from Target
