Something Not French
Basically, I ordered 4 x 4Gb RAM upgrade for my late 2009 iMac from Scan.

Apple Specs : http://support.apple.com/kb/SP576
Corsair : http://www.corsair.com/us/memory/ma...-ddr3-sodimm-memory-kit-cmsa8gx3m2a106c7.html
Arrived today, fitted, beeps and won't boot. Refitted, same, won't boot. After 30minutes of faffing and trying different combinations of the 4 chips, I tried them individually and no boot on any occasion. Refitted original 4Gb RAM, boots first time, works fine (on it now).
Rang Scan, they are arranging collection and test. Will take around 3 weeks to confirm whether is dead, but the advisor said "it was unlikely all 4 are dead." My thoughts precisely, but it seems to be true.
Any one else had a similar experience, or is it just bad luck?
