Knocking banging noise when cornering fast

I have an 2004 1.5 dci, and last night when approached corners fast I heard a loud knocking noise until i came out of the corner, I had a heavy load in the car so was wandering whether it was tyre rubbing (I have 16" 182 alloys on)?

Any ideas?

A knock, or a continuous knock? Front or rear of vehicle?

Check your top-mounts and your driveshaft are all ok

Rear of the car, Continuous knock until i came out of The corner, only happened that one time, but I havnt cornered as fast so I don't know. How can I check those?

Get the wheels off the ground and check for play in the top-mounts and anything abnormal in the shaft & all the joints

If it is the rear, check your springs are seated correctly and your shocks aren't leaking

Could it just be my wider wheels? I went from a 175-205 width on the tyre?

This happens to me when i turn right sharply like roundabouts!
