Knocking/Clicking noise and vibrations????

Hi guys just recently i have noticed my car shaking /vibrating between 40 mph and 60 mph and when i go round corners i hear a clicking noise form the drivers side, i went and had my wheels rebalanced and they were only 10 grams out on each side. does this sound like my driveshaft has gone or ball joint ? if so how much would it cost for a new driveshaft (drivers side)! check the driveshafts and the abs sensor and teeth rings are ok plus check the wheel bolts are tight

new shafts are about £115 I think maybe a bit more.

oh and the shaking vibrations only happen when i have my foot on the throttle and when i take it of it is smooth?

With regards to the clicking round corners I had the same problem. Everytime I went round a left-hand corner it was particularly prominent so I checked the off-side and right enough the drive shaft gaitor was leaking oil.

Anyway replaced whole unit and problem fixed. Cost about £200 for my local garage to fix if I remember right. Would be the first thing to check as sounds like it's the problem and there known to fail.
