knocking noise from engine

hi all
when the cars started and idleing if your sat in it you can hear a knocking sound coming from the right of the engine (if your sat in the car) if you open the drivers door you can hear it quite clear and it goes with the revs if u rev it slowly it sounds like somewhere above the driveshaft area can any 1 help?

Am new to cliosport forum so not sure if i've posted this correctly!

Mine was making a noticeable knocking noise in 1st & 2nd gears, replaced the bottom left engine mount & it was fine...

Have a look at the engine mounts?

hi ya, i had similar problem, was making the noise only when idleing and was warm, its wasnt so bad when cold and went when i revd it but, i changed the oil plus filter and it went after a short drive. if its not that then it might be something like the vvt dephaser not sure tho.
