Knocking noise on acceleration

What is it? Renault dont know!

I had this on mine, it was suppose to be the engine mounts but didnt work on mine, i know some people have had engine mounts and it has resolved this. Unfortunately mine has not been resolved so changing car as they gave a good deal on 182.

yeah, usually the engine mount needs tightening. Check for anything lose in the engine bay.

Renault have given up on mine after 3 attempts to fix it.

They will not fix it, its a waste of time taking to a dealer that is just going to thrash your car and give it back to you with the fault unresolved (and perhaps more problems). Best thing to do is to enjoy the car and put it out of your head.

got the same noise on my mk1, when accelerating hard??? could it be something to do with the drive shafts???????????????
