Knocking noise

Hi just wondering if some could give some advice , i have a knocking noise from what seems to be around the centre of the car under the gearstick , the noise is similiar to say if a droplink was loose etc ive looked but cant see anything obvious thanks

It's either your dogbone mount or your manifold bashing I would say. Could be wrong though.

Its a new shape clio 1.4 if that makes a difference is there anyway to check the mounts to be sure it is that ? Its got worse since my girlfreind scraped it ob some speedhumps lol i dont no if that can pinpoint it abit more thanks

best bet is to get it jacked up and see if there is anything obvious movement in any bushes or suspension components

As said get it jacked up, could be anything really seeing as its had a scrape

Thanks for the replys ive jacked it up and had a quick look underneath and took the passenger side wheel off coudnt see anything and everything felt tight , the only thing i noticed was a mount around the same area of were i can hear the noise its right at the back in the middle other than that im a bit confused to what else it could be
