Koni Adjustable - Setting for Road Use

  PH1 172 Sport
Has anyone got any tips to finding the best damper rate for use on the road?

For example do you normally have the front or back stiffer etc? I dont mind a technical answer the information on damper settings the better please!!

There not height adjustible i'm afraid. How much stiffer should the front be?

Don't suppose you want to elaborate on why they should be stiffer at the front do you?

stiffer rear helps stop understeer and brings it more towards oversteer and having the front softer stops it skipping and sliding again stopping understeer

How much stiffer at the rear would you recommend or is it hard to say?

I assume you would have the front stiffer on a RWD car to get more traction on the back wheels?

Not sure tbh, Depends how you want to use the car?

If enthusiasticly then not too far off full stiffness whilst the front more neutral between stiff and soft

Its my daily driver but it gets driven enthusiasticly when its dry as my run into work includes some pretty good B-roads. I assume stiffening the rear end isn't going to turn it into a tail happy monster as I definately dont want that for road use!?

I have mine set quite stiff with very little weight there, And its definately not tail happy, Even on track whilst trying to tease it out it didnt budge.

By having the front lower I beleive helps stop the rear letting loose.

All what I have said is only my opinion and I am by no means a professional suspension tuner or qualified in setting up suspension. All of the above is either from something I have read or from personal experience :)
