Koni rear damper fitting issues

Anyone else struggle fitting them ? Fitted the boot and bumpstop from the old suspension but struggling to get enough of the shaft and thread to get nut on.

I may have to get my dad to sit on rear tomoz to get some more weight in the back.

These are replacing the koni kw rears so may have to remove the boot / bumpstops from that rather than using the renault ones.

Just seems to be harder than it should 🤣

Don't remember having issues when i had them fitted on mine years ago.

Have you tried making sure the damper rod is fully extended?

They are only oil filled and not gas, so won't extend on their own.

I sorted them in the end. I removed the boot and Bumpstop of the kw rears and all went together fine. I was struggling with the oem Renault ones so not sure if they are compatible or not.
